Graduated in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid, I always had the need to draw, paint, and when I learned about the watercolor technique, I could not leave it.
My teachers have been Rafael Requena, Julio Quesada, Pedro Cano, Justo San Felices, Musthapha Ben Lhamar... I always like to learn!!
For more than 35 years I have dedicated myself to teaching this technique in my workshop in Madrid and in plenary courses in different places, I am passionate about painting outdoors. Living with other artists makes the painted trip a great satisfaction.
In my artistic career I have numerous individual and collective exhibitions.
I have obtained numerous awards, national and international.
I belong to several Watercolor Associations in Spain. I have held management positions in them as general secretary and I currently represent Spain as leader of IWS Spain, Fabriano, etc.
I am part of watercolor juries and participated in national and international events of this technique.
«Watercolor is for me a way of artistic expression that expresses my feelings on paper. I paint with water, color, on white paper and the brush directs these elements forming spots that try to thrill, reach the viewer and myself, full of sensations and surprises.
Water works with me, marking the path to follow ... it is difficult to handle ... unpredictable. When I get the dialogue between water and color and others can feel it ... it’s full happiness, emotion.»
