For me art is a way of discovering and revealing what is hidden from the eye, what is prescribed by the Universe between the lines.
Spontaneity is the essence of my practice. I fall in love with watercolor improvisation. What I feel is that watercolor painting can aim at creating an authentic image from emptiness, surging as a metaphor of the living process itself.
The water element lives in watercolor, it has a natural plasticity, transparency, peacefulness and silence and at the same time carries strength and passion. Watercolor is a visual embodiment of all the qualities of the omnipresent water element. It is able to carry away into the farthest distances, to quench the most burning thirst.
As an artist I strive to capture the mysteries of this profound energy, to connect with it, to express my discoveries and insights in a non-verbal form.
