Chen Fan, Ph.D. in Art Philosophy, is a member of the Hunan Provincial Artists Association, the Hunan Youth Watercolor Society, and a committee member of the Watercolor & Pastel Committee of the Hunan Provincial Artists Association. She currently serves at Changsha University, dedicating herself to the creation and research of watercolor paintings. Her works have been selected multiple times for the International Watercolor Biennale, as well as various national and provincial art exhibitions, receiving over 20 awards. Notably, her 2014 piece "Rest" was selected for the "12th National Art Exhibition" and won the silver prize in the Hunan exhibition area. Her 2015 work "Afternoon Sunlight" won the bronze medal at the "2015-2016 Shenzhen International Watercolor Biennial" and was acquired by the Luohu Art Museum in Shenzhen. Between 2012 and 2020, she held one solo exhibition and participated in three group exhibitions, with many of her works being collected by institutions and private collectors.
