Alfredo Ravelo was born in 1967 in Mexico City. He studied watercolor in Guadalajara, Jalisco with Maestro Emilio Galindo in “La Casa de la Acuarela”. He has lived in Querétaro since 1996.
He currently has 10 individual exhibitions and 35 group exhibitions, of which 7 international exhibitions stand out. His work has been exhibited in Russia, Spain, Italy, Korea, Indonesia, Hungary, Mexico and in India, the latter being the most important by being ranked 17th out of 324 participants worldwide.
He is a member of the Mexican Society of Watercolorists and has won the award 3 times.
National Watercolor Prize, he has also received 3 honorable mentions in the Salon National Watercolor.
His painting has been characterized by his unique style of very free brush strokes, but at the same time very precise and very colorful.
