Wang Yi Ming
China
The name of my work is "Scenery on my mind" which is taken from the great Chinese lyricist Xin Qiji of the Southern Song Dynasty, "I see the green hills so charming/The green hills should see me so too", my hand delineates my heart, my heart expresses my intentions. Watercolor is a language that can especially express what I think: it can be dry or saturated, thin or thick, light as pearls or dense as ebony. It paints with ease. I like to paint watercolor, as it is a means of expression that can especially convey my state of mind, my intentions, my heart.
