Hernán Calderón Carvallo, Graduate in Visual Arts from the Central University of Ecuador and Master in Art Studies from the same university. Currently a tenured professor in the Visual Arts Department at the San Francisco de Quito University.
Individual and group exhibitions both in the country and abroad such as: Charpentier Gallery in Quito; Faculty of Arts of the Central University of Ecuador; “Eloy Alfaro” Military School of Quito; College of Architects of Quito; Quito Kingman Arts Inn; Jacarandá Club of Quito; House of Ecuadorian Culture of Quito; Gruen Galleries, Chicago, IL., U.S.A.; San Francisco de Quito University, among others.
National artistic painting competitions organized by the Municipalities and Houses of Culture of Quito, Ambato, Cuenca and Guayaquil in Ecuador.
International watercolor competitions in the United States of America, Italy, Ukraine and Poland.
Artistic and academic awards such as: First Prize, Gold Medal and Diploma, Student Painting Contest, Quito, (1969).
