I paint what calms me and brings me peace, like floating on the ocean and feeling that water holds you, weightless. My paintings do not aim to scream, they want to speak calmly. Inspired by the sea and the ocean, my paintings usually depict beach scenes and seascapes. I do not paint complicated scenes, but actually quite simple ones, I like to see the beauty in ordinary things. I paint in watercolours because I feel very connected to water.
