I am concerned with the human imagination and it's connection to lived reality.
In Germany they would call my art "Selbst Kunst" where you take your own life and the lived experience as the subject matter. I paint in a realist style as I do not wish to alienate the viewer with any program of artistic conceptual mind control. I desire to give them freedom to explore and then allow them to unfold into a deeper relationship with the eternal.
I have worked like this since a child. My artwork aged 5 won the world wide Disney art competition and I was invited to California to meet Walk Disney . I like technical skill but also the ability to let that go into a "moment of now" Dionysian spontaneous energy that pulsates out of the painting .
