Watercolour
In my opinion, it is an excellent and one of the most difficult painting techniques.
I've chosen it to realize my artistic visions. The watercolor series
"Sea Window" just show wonderful possibilities of this technique.
I used excellent Fabriano Artistico 640 g/m² paper for these paintings.
The very idea and subject matter comes from my fascination with the sea. Countless times
I have been on the beaches of the Polish Baltic Sea to soak up this maritime atmosphere.
Hours of wandering, during which sketches and notes were created, and delights were born… all that was translated by me onto watercolor paper using the language of minimalism and
abstraction. Onetime I found myself in a home of an old fisherman in which
I discovered a magical with a view of the sea This window and it’s view
made a huge impression on me and inspired me to create several
watercolors, and later an extended series called "Sea Window." This inspiration continues to this day resulting in more watercolors.
Art is where you find it.
