Mimi C. Huang is a Greater St. Louis–based artist who has lived in the area since 1987. Trained as an art historian, she brings both scholarly insight and personal conviction to her painting practice. A former staff member of the Saint Louis Art Museum, her engagement with art history continues to inform her work.
Huang focuses on portraiture and the human figure, exploring psychological presence through attentive observation and expressive handling of paint.
