Nature, its state and power, is the primary focus of my thoughts and imagery. Why nature? Because it is harmony, a perfect balance, the very form of beauty. Surrounded by trees, soft sunlight, and the whisper of leaves, I feel my own breath and heartbeat. I dissolve, becoming part of something mighty, infinite, and unknown. I realize that I have never encountered anything more harmonious or complete. This connection helps me hear and trust myself, finding safety in being true to who I am.
Watercolor is my medium, uniquely capable of conveying my feelings—alive, breathing, and ever-changing. It is a partnership with water, an element ready to show its character at any second, keeping me in a state of maximum concentration. It is a material one can never fully master. Every day I learn to feel it, following its flows and gradients, trusting its experiments while simultaneously trying to guide it toward the vision of my image.
