I am a Russian abstract artist based in London. I am self-taught, and although my practice began relatively recently, it is formed by a long-standing immersion in the visual arts, including watercolour, design, and exhibition culture.
My work is driven by a deeply personal impulse to create, with abstract painting at the heart of my practice. I explore the expressive potential of colour as both an emotional and spatial force. For me, colour is not descriptive but transformative—it has the ability to shape mood and guide a more introspective, meditative experience.
I am particularly interested in the dialogue between dynamism and tranquillity, using colour to create a sense of movement while maintaining visual balance. Through carefully considered contrasts and accents, I investigate how colour can resonate within a space, subtly influencing atmosphere and experience.
