Born in 1972 in Tirana, Igli Arapi has lived and worked in Italy for over 30 years, where he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari. His works are appreciated worldwide, and many of them are held in private and public collections, as well as museums. Light is the cornerstone of his research, in which figuration often progressively frees itself from the need for description to become a perceptive and luminous experience. In fact, his style is cited in the article "Watercolor - a Graphic or Pictorial Medium?", an example of styles among masters of the past and present. Published by IWS Bulgaria.com 2020.
