I was born in San Carlos, Uruguay (1967). A self-taught artist, I found my fundamental expressive language in watercolor. Since 1992, I have developed a professional career that combines artistic creation with teaching in drawing and painting workshops, a role I fulfilled in Colonia del Sacramento (2007-2022) and which I currently continue in Spain.
I was a founding member and President of the Uruguayan Watercolorists Cultural Association (A.C.U.A.). My work has represented Uruguay at international biennials and art fairs in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, and is part of permanent collections such as those of the National Watercolor Museum (Mexico) and the Bolivarian Museum of Modern Art (Colombia).
Among my distinctions are awards at the C.E.I. Salon in Maldonado and the National Maritime Painting Salon (Montevideo), as well as honorable mentions at the Ibero-American Biennial (Madrid) and the International Triennial (Santa Marta). Currently, I maintain an active presence in the Spanish art scene.
