Giuliano Boscaini

Italy

Giuliano Boscaini was born in Turate (Como) on 18-6-1958

He very soon began his work in the field of advertising graphics until 1986 when he decided to become a freelancer in this sector, acquiring leading companies in the national territory in his portfolio.
His passion, attitude and imagination in drawing soon led him to approach art, showing a predilection for landscape painting, portrayed with the oil technique.

He continued self-taught by studying and experimenting with different techniques. The meeting with the Emilian watercolor painter Aldo Tarozzi was decisive for his interest in this intriguing technique, with often unpredictable results, from which he received greater satisfaction and "emotions" and then tried to transmit them in his paintings.
His works contain moods and sensations represented by a language based on the right use of color, the play of water, light and the harmony of forms.

"Painting in watercolor for me is a moment of meditation in which the logical mind is canceled, a state of non-thought, allowing me to draw energy and stillness from space".

During his journey he has participated in various exhibitions and impromptu, winning important awards and reviews in various newspapers.
He participated in a project of the FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano) in the creation of watercolors of his most important assets (Villa del Balbianello in Como - Abbey of San Fruttuoso in Camogli, - Bosco di San Francesco in Assisi - Castle of Masino. Turin - Garden of the Kolymbethra in the Valley of the Temples - Castello della Manta in Cuneo - Villa Panza Collection in Varese - Castello di Avio in Trendo .... and many others.
He exhibited watercolors at the Villa Carlotta and Villa del Balbianello on Lake Como.

In 2015 he participated in several prestigious group exhibitions, such as the grand-ducal palace of Revere (Mantua) and the La Meridiana Club in Casinalbo (Mo).
The most recent exhibition is a personal one that took place in September 2017 in Bologna.

He lives and works in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna).
In recent years she has also been dedicating herself to teaching by promoting the knowledge of this complex but at the same time fascinating technique ... where Fantasy and Emotions can express themselves in complete freedom thanks to the magic of Water & Color.
