Sankalp Das
India
I paint stories through light, memory, and place. Working primarily in watercolor, I’m drawn to streets, architecture, and quiet human moments that often go unnoticed — a mechanic at work, a sunlit church wall, a fading urban façade.
Watercolor, to me, is both control and surrender. It mirrors life in its unpredictability, allowing emotion to flow through structure.
Balancing a corporate career with an artistic calling, I find beauty in resilience and faith woven into everyday spaces. My work invites viewers to pause, reflect, and rediscover the poetry hidden in the ordinary.
