The presence of nature in my work stems from my love for it. Its beauty and mystery challenge me, and I ask myself: How does the life energy of all beings that inhabit it connect and communicate? My answer manifests itself through the experience of painting with colors I make from various dye plants from my country, from the cultures that make up my ancestral and communal memory. It is through watercolor that I blend in and transform myself into protective, wise beings with the power to transform and heal.
