I explore and observe the world so that I can share my discoveries and findings with the viewer.
I don't attempt to depict objects, scenes, or places. Your cell phone can easily do that, so it is not that interesting. Instead, I capture a snapshot of time, fleeting and elusive sensations of the world. Light is the main tool for that task, which perhaps explains that I am sometimes called a "sunny watercolorist". After all, it is only because of light that we can seeā¦
I capture elusive moments, almost fleeting emotions, by filtering them through the prism of my perception. So, each painting is, first and foremost, a part of me and my world. After all, the subject itself isn't as important as our impressions of it. Sometimes even the most banal or boring thing can be beautiful if you can truly see it. Now, you can see it through my eyes.
