My abstract pieces are profoundly influenced by my desire to express emotions through visual art and eventually create balance, harmony and safe space for myself and viewers. Central to my practice is the exploration of the psychological impact of colour and its deep connection to emotional states. Using water colour media allows for the combination of transparency and dense fills that gives the painting depth and a dynamic effect.
