David Mancazzo

Italy

Italian, better Roman, 55 years old.
Married with two grown children. Company executive..
I developed a passion for drawing at a very young age, exhibiting at “Mille Bambini a Via Margutta” in 1979.
I set aside this passion for many years to focus on family and work, later resuming my artistic journey under the expert guidance of Maestro Marcello Spada.
Watercolour painting has become a medium through which I express emotions, intuitions, and fragilities, while celebrating timeless beauty.
In 2024, I presented my first solo exhibition, Sassi di Carta – Rome – Fondazione Kattinis. The exhibition was conceived as an intimate and vibrant dialogue with the history of art: through a series of watercolours, I reinterpret the masterpieces of the great sculptural Masters, reflecting on the double life of artworks between past and contemporary times.
Today, I continue to explore the language of watercolour with renewed passion, seeking new connections between memory, art, and the future.
