My affair with watercolor started late in my adult life, and even though I may spend time with other mediums every now and then, I feel watercolor and I are bound together for life. The unpredictability keeps me on my toes. Its transparency keeps me honest. It invites me to share my love for local heritage and all things resplendent, but it is also present when I want to express my ruminations on authenticity and womanhood. I paint with watercolor because just when I think I know it well, it goes on to show me something new.
